Checklist for your move
The driver does not carry. You and your helpers load and unload; the driver drives and secures the load.

Before
- Helpers at both ends: who carries at loading, who at unloading?
- Floor and lift at both addresses: does the biggest piece fit through the stairs, door and lift?
- Who is there at each stop when the van arrives?
- Parking: where can the van stop right outside the door?
- Furniture taken apart, boxes closed and labelled.
On the day
- Valuables stay with you: cash, jewellery, important documents.
- Be ready on time: 15 minutes are free at each stop, then waiting is charged per minute.
- Someone is at the drop-off to take the items.

What the van must not carry
- Goods worth more than €1,000 in total per trip
- Cash, jewellery, precious metals, watches, securities, irreplaceable documents, works of art
- Dangerous goods such as gas bottles, fuel or chemicals; weapons, explosives, illegal substances
- Living animals, perishable food
- Fragile electronics without original or protective packaging
- More weight or volume than the van can safely take
